Perhaps Rochdale were playing at home to Saints or Oldham hosting Hull Kingston Rovers at Watersheddings... in these towns Rugby League was king. In Bramfield, it was the same.
Bramfield Rovers have reached an all-time low. Bottom of the league and on the verge of bankruptcy. Is the end in sight? When club scout Stanley Keighley is sent on a scouting mission to a posh North Yorkshire Rugby Union club and is chased away by an outraged Colonel?s Afghan hounds, he sets off a series of bizarre events.
